but since we at BIGFUNBLOG.com do not have the time to list every single one to you, we will just give you some of the main reasons we feel you should get in on the act of blog writing.

A blog doesn’t have to be a boring informational based piece of art; you can just as easily make it about your favourite sport or hobby, or even just what you did each day. Talk about anything that interests you, there are bound to be some readers out there searching for people with similar interests or views. There are no limits to what your blog can be about (subject to terms of use).
To share your opinion with the world
Let’s face it whether your young or old no body ever seems to listen to what you really have to say. This is the perfect time to make a blog you can share your opinions about, petrol, energy costs, sports, law anything and everything without being silenced by the person with the loudest mouth in the room.
You can even launch a poll system so viewers can vote on what they think and you can view the stats and prove, or if you’re unlucky, disprove your point.

You can easily make money with a blog by using Adsense, Bidvertiser, Adbrite and many other advertising companies. You can place Google ads on your blog and when somebody visits your blog and clicks that advertisement link you get paid. Think about it, you can just write about what you did today and get paid. Perfect for a student who wants to make a little bit of money on the internet with minimum effort and around their studies.
Easier than a website to maintain
A website bases itself around heavy scripting and usually requires at least a small amount of html knowledge to make. A blog is better then a website because it is a lot easier to maintain then a website, because when you want to add new content you do not have to make a new page and edit other pages to link to it. You just go to your control panel and write a new post, simple.
To get one-way links to your main site
Maybe you already run a main website and you are trying to increase your rankings on one of the major search engines? In that case this is perfect for you, you can submit some content each day, or each week, and include a back link to your main website from either within the post or by adding your website to the blog roll.
